Upon reaching Leh, the heart of Ladakh, you will visit spiritual and cultural landmarks such as Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, and the grand Shanti Stupa. Travel to Nubra Valley over Khardung La Pass, the world’s highest motorable road, and explore sand dunes, Diskit Monastery, and the scenic Hunder village.

Your tour to Manali with My IndiaTrips starts from a pickup location which would either be the RK Ashram Metro Station or Majnu Ka Teela (as per the Volvo bus schedule). At your pickup location, our representative will brief you about the Volvo routing Delhi to Manali. Overnight Volvo Journey.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a pre-booked accommodation in Manali. After having a delectable breakfast, you will be asked to get ready for the day sightseeing tour in Manali. Today, you will be visiting some popular tourist attractions of Manali like Naggar Castle - the former official seat of the kings that dates back to 15th century, Roerich Art Gallery and several temples in Naggar village. In the afternoon, you will be further taken on a short pilgrimage tour to Hadimba Devi Temple and Manu Temple. Thereafter, visit the Tibetan Monastery - one of the oldest attraction in the region along with Vashisht Village. Founded by Guru Vashist who was the guru of Lord Rama and Lakshman, the village is the former residence of Vashisht clan.
Not more than an hour into your drive, you reach the novel Atal Tunnel! Drive through this engineering masterpiece as in no time you get to the magical land of Lahaul. Lahaul is undoubtedly the most beautiful part of the drive with a perfect mix of green and brown. Reach Sarchu by evening, which also marks the end of Himachal Pradesh and movement into Leh & Ladakh.
Drive from Keylong to Leh through Tanglang La, the second-highest motorable road in the world. At a remarkable altitude of 17,582 feet, the road is full of tricky turns and rock-strewn paths. Arrive in Leh, check-in to your hotel for a delightful stay.
We drive out to Chilling, along the River Zanskar, where we begin our 14 km river rafting adventure from. This route has up to 3+ Grade rapids. It offers majestic views of the mountains along the way while you enjoy the thrill in the chilling waters. Also, we visit the various tourist spots like Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Stok Palace, etc..
We cross Khardung La, situated at 18,380ft, the world’s highest motorable road, to enter into Nubra Valley. Sandwiched between the Karakoram Range to the north and Ladakh range to the south, lie the Shyok and Nubra Rivers. The villages of Nubra are scattered along with these two valley floors. Given the relatively low altitude, a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and grains are grown. We visit the Diskit Monastery, a 550-year old historic place before getting into the majestic Nubra Valley, where we stay overnight in fixed tents under the star-filled night skies.
After an early breakfast, we visit the white sand dunes at Hunder, a rare cold desert at this altitude. Ride the unique double-humped Bactrian camels here, the only place in the entire world where they can be found! The most fascinating highlight of any Leh trip, today we pay a visit to Pangong Lake, which is the largest brackish water lake in Asia. Two-thirds of the lake lies in China. To get there, we travel via a road parallel to the River Shyok. Enjoy the evening by the lakeside reveling in the glorious colors of nature, a class apart from any other such sight. If you happen to be here around New Moon, enjoy the splendid view of a star-studded Milky Way galaxy at night. Sleep tight!
The morning’s here! We wake up to an enchanting sunrise over Pangong Tso and later head back towards Leh. On our way, we halt by the famed Hemis and Thiksey Monasteries. On reaching Leh, rest and retire for the day.
After a long vacation, your Manali and Ladakh tour ends on this day. In the morning, you will be served with a delectable breakfast. Post breakfast, you will mark your return drive to Leh airport from where you will board your flight back home/onward destination accompanied with a bucket full of enduring memories.
